The Andrew Johnson Heritage Association is a long-time sponsor of National History Day Program events in Tennessee.

Mosheim, Chuckey-Doak Middle 
Win at Tennessee History Day

History students from Mosheim Middle School and Chuckey-Doak Middle School competed Saturday at Tennessee History Day held at University of Memphis.

Mosheim Middle School won 1st place in the junior performance division. Members included Brianna Morrow, Melissa Kinser and Brittany Loveall. Mosheim Middle also won 3rd place in the junior documentary competition. Members included Chandler Christopher, Karina Thacker, Daniel Whitehead, Taylor and Tyler Patterson.

Chuckey-Doak Middle School won 1st place in the junior group exhibit. Members included Emily Frazier and Katie Adams.

The groups winning 1st place will go on to compete at the National History Day event at the University of Maryland in June.
